If you are driving to Cascais and wish to drop your bags off before parking, please use the restaurant “Armazem 22” as your GPS destination. Some maps have the house address slightly off. When you arrive to the front entrance of the restaurant, the pink house will be to your right, and the restaurant to your left. The door to the house will be to your right on Beco Dos Invalidos (the small pedestrian road next to the intersection). You will see the number 5 above it and a keypad to your right.
Lot
Parking at Estacionamento Marechal Carmona is the most convenient. It’s 500 meters away (about an 8 minute walk). After dropping your bags off, you can go straight ahead after and follow it as it bends to the right. The path is highlighted in YELLOW below. Beware, there is a section of very narrow road, if you aren’t used to driving in European old town centers, you may want to take the longer way (which is highlighted in BLUE).
It’s a very large parking lot so there is always parking there and you pay when you exit so you don’t have to worry about adding time.
Note, that the house is directly across the restaurant Armazem 22 (marked on the map)
At this parking lot you get a ticket when you enter and you pay when you exit. The rates vary by season (about 28 euros April to October and 20 euros November to March).
Street Parking
In the map above, the area marked in red has short-term parking. There is more short term parking on many streets on the other side of Emidio Navarro. You will see machines to pay with coins.
Free (12-15 minutes walk back from your car)
You will find free street parking a few minutes further away from the parking lot above. We recommend that you put “Cascais Beauty Clinic” on your GPS. Starting on that road you will see free parking, and you can continue towards “Citadel Park Condominium”.
