Cool things to see with my kid(s)

Park Marechal Carmona:

This Park is a true green oasis with lush landscapes stretching over twenty hectares with several playgrounds, numerous species of plants and trees that provide ample shade on hot summer days, making it ideal for picnics or leisurely strolls along tree-lined paths. Look at the ducks and turtles swimming in the lake and find the beautiful peacocks running around the park.

This park is also home to several historic buildings, including a chapel dedicated to Saint Sebastian, built at the end of the 15th century. And behind the park towards the beach, there is a little beach under a stone bridge.

If you made it this far, might as well try to capture one of the most iconic photos of Cascais:

To get this iconic photo, you will need to enter the museum of Santa Maria. An old beautiful house with beautiful water views and terrances built by architect Raul Lino.

The Caves where Cascais was born:

The latest information we have is that they are only open the first Sundays of the month from 10 AM to 1 PM. Read more about it here: https://www.cascais.pt/noticia/grutas-do-poco-velho-vao-poder-ser-visitadas-por-todos

The Carousel:

In the middle of Viscode Da Luz park, there is a very nice Mery-Go-Round

Sweet Crepe with Ice-cream:

OK, so this is already in the Eating category, but Amori D’Ana has really good crepes with ice-cream and they make their own juices. Check out the menu here.
